Little Hebe Crater

Little Hebe Crater

Similar to its much larger neighbor, Little Hebe Crater is also the result of a steam explosion caused by magma rising through a fault line towards the surface. At only 300 years old, Little Hebe Crater is one of the youngest geologic features in the park. In the background are the mountains of the Last Chance Range.
