Frequently referred to as “The Crown of the Continent”, GlacierNational Park consists of over one million aces of jagged mountains,alpine meadows, and remote lakes that straddle the continental divide.Named for the massive rivers of ice that carved out the mountains,today the park is home to one of the most diverse and wild ecosystemsin the country along with over 700 miles of hiking trails.
